Happy 1 Month, Alex!

Today, our beautiful baby boy turns 1 month old! I cannot believe that it has already been one month, and that is has only been one month at the same time! It seems like just yesterday, we were at the hospital getting ready to meet this little guy. But it also seems like he has been a part of our lives forever too.

I am so surprised that I am 1 month old today!

So what has our Bubby baby been up to this month? He is such a good baby, eating every 2.5-3 hours. He does well with sleeping at night, going usually between 3-5 hours at night. One time, he even went 7 hours...it was glorious! He is a good eater and we are really getting the hang of that. We have made a few public appearances, going to HEB or Target mainly (for Mommy's sanity).

Bubs was a little smaller than I originally thought he would be, fitting nicely into the few newborn outfits he had. And I even had to buy him newborn diapers, something Jillian never used. But newborn clothes and diapers are getting a little snug as our tiny baby fills in...mama is making sure he is a well-fed baby. He is starting to get chubby legs, chubby cheeks, and more baby rolls, which we love!!!

Alex is very mild-mannered and often times sleeps through Jillian's crazy! She is a great big sister to Bubs, giving him lots of hugs and kisses. She tries to play with him by throwing the ball to at him, and she has conversations with him (where she does all the talking of course). And since he is starting to track things with his eyes, he will watch her bounce around him.

I cannot even begin to tell you how great it is to watch Jillian and Alex together! She already calls him her "best friend ever" and I know it'll be awesome to watch their relationship develop. And as for Julian and me, we fall even more and more in love with our son each day. He truly makes our lives complete!
