Silly Jilly: Jumparoo Jilly
Baby Jilly has gotten so good at jumping in her jumparoo! Now, when the music plays, she goes crazy!!! Check out this video to see her in action.
She didn't know we were filming her but towards the end, she notices us watching her. Silly Jilly!

Life as a House: If These Walls Could Talk...
It's been a while since I provided an update on our house. A lot of progress has been made, including the windows being installed, all the electrical work is done, and plumbing going in. But the biggest change of all is that the inside walls have been put up!
I had the idea to go in and write saying on all the walls of our house. "If these walls could talk..." they would tell you our wishes for our new home.
I know that the sayings and scripture will get painted over, but we will remember the words that are written there. This was just another little touch to make this home more our own. After all, "A house is made of walls and beams. A home is built of love and dreams."
Also, they have finished putting the stone and brick in place so the outside of our house is coming along great. It is so beautiful, exactly as we hoped it would look!
Next up, they will be painting the walls and putting in the cabinets! We hope to be in the house in about a month. For now, we start packing (the not so fun part of moving)!
Putting in the windows |
And Here are the Walls |
I had the idea to go in and write saying on all the walls of our house. "If these walls could talk..." they would tell you our wishes for our new home.
In the entryway, "Bless this home and all who enter"
In the front room, "As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. -Joshua 24:15"
In the kitchen "Eat, Drink, and Be Merry"
In the Dining Room, "Come Gather at our Table"
In the Master bedroom, "All because 2 people fell in love"
In our little girl's doorwaay, "Good morning, Beautiful!"
And over her crib, "Every good and perfect gift is from above. -James 1:17"
And in the guest bedroom, "May our home be warm and our friends be many"
I know that the sayings and scripture will get painted over, but we will remember the words that are written there. This was just another little touch to make this home more our own. After all, "A house is made of walls and beams. A home is built of love and dreams."
From the wall in our living room, where the fireplace is...
Also, they have finished putting the stone and brick in place so the outside of our house is coming along great. It is so beautiful, exactly as we hoped it would look!

Happy 2 Year Anniversary!
2 years ago today, Julian and I said "I do!"
Happy
So happy to spend the rest of our lives with each other as best friends, lovers, and soulmates
Enjoying the amazing experience our relationship has been thus far as we have grown and changed together
Continuing to fall in love with each other everyday, especially as we watch the other fall more in love with our daughter
Only two years of marriage so far, but they have been the most amazing years of our lives
Never forgetting all the love and support we have gotten from each other and those around us
Dreaming of our future together and working to make our dreams come true
Anniversary!

Happy 4 Months, Jillian!
Happy baby in her Bumbo |
Playing with my feet |
She is becoming more and more aware of the environment around her.
We went to her well-baby check up and she weighs 14 pounds, 10 ounces and is 24.5 inches tall! She's in the 75th percentile in weight and 50th percentile in height, which is good because she's evening out.
Another big occurrence this month is that Jilly went on a plane for the first time! We were in El Paso for Jilly's 4 month birthday, where our little girl was getting loved on by her grandparents, aunts and uncles, and by cousin Lauren!
Off to Grandma's in El Paso! |
In my PJs on the plane |
Unfortunately, her monthly mile-marker monkey did not make the trip with us so I took her pictures with him before we left!
Look how big I am getting! |
I love my monkey |
And Jillian also got her ears pierced on her 4 month birthday!
Look at my earrings! |
Overall, this past month was great as we continue to watch our precious baby girl grow, change, learn, and love! We are so in love with our little girl and can't wait to see what next month has in store for us!
***Please note - I have failed as a blogger!!! I did not work on the blog while we were on vacation in El Paso...and I left my camera in El Paso on accident so these are all cell phone pictures. I will update this post with more/better pictures as soon as I can. But thanks for reading this post anyway!***
